Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao (born March 3, 1997), known by her stage name Camila Cabello, is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter. She rose to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, who came in third place on the second season of The X Factor in 2012. Cabello left the group on December 19, 2016.
In May of 2017, Cabello released "Crying in the Club" as her first single as a solo artist. She then released her second single "Havana (feat. Young Thug)" became her international breakthrough hit, reaching number one in the USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
Her first album Camila was released on January 12, 2018. When it was released, Camila topped the iTunes albums chart in one-hundred countries. It is one of only eleven albums to achieve this feat, and the only debut album to do so.
